geckovescence /ˈɡekōˈvesəns/ noun: the self-propulsion of water droplets off the skin of gecko lizards

This jumping dew drop phenomena ‘geckovescence’ may aid in providing an inhospitable microclimate for bacteria and fungi as well as help clean the skin from contaminants…”
